Fata Morgana

 Maybe one of my favorite movies ever??? Definitely, probably,my favorite Werner Herzog. God I love Werner Herzog! It's a documentary? Kind of? There's Leonard Cohen music and a Moroccan boy with a pet fennec. There are strange poetic thoughts and Mayan creation myths. There is stunning cinematography. There can be landscape even with no meaning. I wish I saw this 30 years ago so I could have been rewatching it.
